20th March: Due to computer troubles, our site hasn't been updated for nearly 3 months We are now back up and running computer wise (good old laptop). Our computer troubles certainly have not stop us from continuing with our lovely 'F' Litter and our lovely girls keeping us busy throughout the Christmas and New Year period. So over the next couple of weeks we will be updating our pages with news and new pictures of our girls and the 'F' litter babies.
All pages have been updated with further updates to follow and this will occur of the next couple of weeks with new pages, photos, results and critiques to be added to different pages.
15th February saw the lovely Sharni aka Amarada Dancing On Ice AZ receive her Breed Survey Class 1 surveyed by Mrs. Melanie Groth (NSW). Thank you to Melanie for her wonderful comments about Sharni and the Amarada Breeding Program, more details on this later.
On the 16th February saw the first specialty in Tasmania for 2008. We only had Echo exhibited at this show along with John and Denise Ashcroft's Sharni as Nikki had 8 week old F litter babies. Echo was 2nd Open Bitch, excellent and Reserve Challenge to the lovely Molle vd Wether Muhle (Gmy) and Sharni was 6th Open Bitch and also excellent graded. The 17th February our 2nd Specialty Championship Show and again Echo was 2nd Open Bitch, excellent graded and Reserve Challenge and Sharni was State Bred In Show. With Echo winning Reserve Challenge bitch she also retained the Inka Memorial Trophy for the 2nd consecutive year. Congratulations Echo!!! Congratulations John, Denise, Sandy and family on Sharni's wonderful achievements over the weekend.
On the 1st of March our 'F' Litter babies made their showing debuts and acquitted themselves very well, Zeb, Jimmy were 1st and 2nd Baby Puppy Dog and Nala was 1st Baby Puppy Bitch and Baby Puppy of Breed. We were extremely pleased with the babies efforts as they were in front of babies that were 1 to 2 months older than them. Special thanks to Lucy Mathers who handled Jimmy very well. Jimmy will be seen out about Lucy as his regular handler. Thanks also to Gordon and Heather Mathers who helped double handle the babies at their first show. Echo was State Bred of Breed and Nikki made her return to the show ring with 2nd Open Bitch and an excellent. Judge Mrs. Jane Pike from SA was very impressed with the condition that Nikki was in considering that her babies were only 12 weeks old.
9th March on his second outing Jimmy takes out Baby Puppy of Breed (beating Nala) and goes on to Baby Puppy In Group.
