2011 News

May

Too many updates.  Most pages have been updated, long overdue but the first half of 2011 has been flat out.  Our G,H & I Litters have all gone to their new homes.  Our new additions Ally, Sax, Tootsie, Hoby, Oska and Marli have made fantastic show debuts and Oska is now moving on from the showring to make a wonderful companion with the Lange family.

At Easter we ventured to Sydney, New South Wales for nearly 2 weeks for Sydney Royal, German Shepherd National, Weimaraner Specialty and County Of Cumberland Shows.  Wow what a trip.  The youngsters of the team whilst not all shown travelled so well with minimal fuss.  Our first show was the German Shepherds at Sydney Royal.  What a professionally run event.  The youngster Sax (the youngest of our team to be shown) was 2nd in the Puppy Bitch Class (6 - 12 months), Quiz was the winner of the Intermediate Bitch Class, Suki was third in the Australian Bred Bitch Class and Nikki at 6.5 years was third in the Open Bitch Class.  Next up was the GSD National, all of our girls received the highest grading available to them for their ages!!!  On Good Friday was the Weimaraner Specialty.  Evie was unplaced in the Junior Bitch class but showed extremely well.  Charli was a star 2nd Open Bitch and Reserve Challenge Bitch.   Evie's brother Docker was awarded BEST IN SHOW.  Saturday was another trip out to the Royal for the Weimaraners.  Evie was 2nd in the Junior Bitch Class and Charli was 3rd Open Bitch.   Last but not least it was back out to Erskine Park for the County Of Cumberland show the last show for our trip.  Wouldn't you know it Weimaraners and GSDs clashed big time.  We didn't take any males to show on this trip.  Sax was 1st Minor Puppy & Minor Puppy Of Breed.  Ally was 1st Puppy Bitch and Puppy Of Breed.  Suki was 1st Intermediate Bitch and Intermediate Of Breed and Nikki was 1st Open Bitch/Bitch Challenge & BEST OF BREED proving age is no barrier for QUALITY, even under international judges.  Due to the clash with breeds Evie wasn't shown.  Charli was 1st Open Bitch/Bitch Challenge and BEST OF BREED with some 56 Weimaraners entered.  To say we are thrilled with our teams results would be an understatement.  We look forward to our next adventure, where you ask?  Don't know at this stage but plenty of plans in the pipeline.
